Glacier Park Lodge
Situated at the southeast corner of Glacier National Park, Glacier Park Lodge was built in 1913. It's located on the southeast corner of Glacier National Park in East Glacier Park. Inside the historic hotel, Douglas Fir logs tower over the lobby at 40ft., a fire crackles in the stone fireplace and guests gather to share stories of the day’s adventures. Built by the Great Northern Railway and loosely styled as a Swiss chalet, it's been the first stop on visitors' Glacier vacations for decades.

It's been the first stop on visitors' Glacier vacations for decades. Instead of television, you’ll find beautiful mountain views and instead of air conditioning, you’ll breathe fresh Montana mountain air. Glacier Park Lodge is the perfect place to unplug and immerse yourself in Glacier National Park. From standard main lodge rooms to a standalone cottage and golf house emulating pure mountain ambience, Glacier Park Lodge offers myriad styles with historic Montana charm. Enjoy modern amenities with authentic decor in this original Great Northern Railway hotel.

Glacier Park Lodge is located just outside the boundaries of Glacier National Park in the village of East Glacier Park, Montana. It is on the southeast side of Glacier National Park at the intersection of U.S. Rte 2 and MT-49. The East Glacier Park Amtrak Station is located right across the street from Glacier Park Lodge. Many of the early visitors of the park traveled there via the railway and Amtrak is keeping this tradition alive with their Great Northern Route stretching from Chicago to Seattle/Portland.
