DAY 1            YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN DENVER
Welcome to Denver, Colorado! When you arrive, make your way to your hotel and check in. Then, spend the remainder of the day as you wish, perhaps taking some time to explore the Mile-High City’s museums, art galleries, craft breweries, world-class cuisine and so much more. If you’re interested in the fascinating and unusual, check out the National Ice Core Lab, located just outside of Denver. This is where scientists house 10 miles of ancient ice collected in North America, Antarctica and Greenland. (Overnight in Denver)

DAY 2            DENVER
Today, you’ll experience a sightseeing tour of Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado. Spanning the Continental Divide, this park is a prime destination for those who love the outdoors. With 76 mountains, 412 square miles of breath-taking beauty, meandering rivers and open meadows, and opportunities to hike, bike, fish, ride horses, camp and mountaineer, Rocky Mountain is world-renowned. While summer is the most popular season to visit, the winter holds its own magic. (Overnight in Denver)

DAY 3            DENVER TO GRAND JUNCTION
Travel to the Amtrak station and board the California Zephyr toward Grand Junction. Known as one of the most picturesque train rides in all of North America, this route climbs through the heart of the Rockies. When you arrive in the afternoon, take time to take in the red rock landscape of Grand Junction at your leisure. If you’re looking for something to do, try exploring downtown and visit some of the shops, restaurants, or art galleries. (Overnight in Grand Junction)

DAY 4            GRAND JUNCTION TO ARCHES AND CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK
Cross the border into Utah for a full-day tour of two spectacular national parks: Arches and Canyonlands. Arches National Park is a geological treasure featuring two thousand natural sandstone arches, including the world famous Delicate Arch. The park’s rich colours, textures, and landforms highlight the extraordinary balanced rocks, fins, and pinnacles. Canyonlands National Park offers a stunning landscape filled with countless canyons, mesas, and buttes, carved by the mighty Green and Colorado rivers. Experience the park from the astounding Island in the Sky, a scenic drive that follows the rim of the mesa and offers amazing views. (Overnight in Grand Junction)

DAY 5            GRAND JUNCTION TO SALT LAKE CITY
Travel to the Amtrak station and board the train to Salt Lake City. Take in the unparalleled views of Utah’s gorgeous Wasatch Mountains as you head west on the California Zephyr. (Overnight in Salt Lake City)

DAY 6            SALT LAKE CITY TO JACKSON HOLE
Today, drive up to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the ideal basecamp for exploring Grand Teton National Park. Located along the eastern side of the Teton Mountain Range, the 2.9 square mile town’s charm lies in its western hospitality and breath-taking landscapes. If you’re looking to get an exciting taste of the Wild Wild West, this is the place! Stroll through the town square along boardwalks lined with boutique shops, art galleries, and restaurants serving delicious cuisines. You may even want to stand beneath the famous elk antler arches and capture a photo for your memories or visit the Valley Bookstore, one of the last remaining independent bookstores in Wyoming! DAY 7            GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK TO YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
Glistening alpine lakes, canyons blanketed with blooming wildflowers, glacier-carved granite summits, dense forests, and a vast array of flora and fauna await your arrival. From hiking to stargazing, there really is endless opportunities into the park to both learn and discover the beauty and impressive scenery of this national treasure. From the moment you enter the park, your imagination will be captivated. If there’s one thing you’re guaranteed to find in the mountains, it’s serenity. After you’ve spent the day taking in the sights, you’ll drive into Yellowstone, located just 10 miles from Grand Teton National Park. (Overnight in Yellowstone)

DAY 8            YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
Get ready to tour Yellowstone National Park, an unforgettable adventure! A wilderness seemingly untouched by man, this 3,400-square-mile national park features abundant wildlife, lakes, rivers, rising mountain peaks, waterfalls, and geysers and thermal hot springs. Stretching between the states of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming, it offers every visitor something special. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of both the Lower and Upper Loop, where you’ll get to see the famous Old Faithful Geyser, Gibbon River, Monument Geyser Basin, Mammoth Hot Springs, and the Grand Prismatic Spring. These tours will allow you to experience all the exciting crowd-pleasers and secrets of Yellowstone. (Overnight in Yellowstone)

DAY 9            OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
In the morning or early afternoon, make the drive back to Salt Lake City. Then, the evening is yours to spend as you prefer, including enjoying an included dinner. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 10                      SAN FRANCISCO
Upon your arrival at Emeryville Station, you will board your included transfer to San Francisco. After you check into your hotel, the evening is yours to start exploring the “City by the Bay.” Take a stroll along Fisherman’s Wharf, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and sample the delicious local cuisine, like fresh seafood and delicious sourdough bread. DAY 11          SAN FRANCISCO TO YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK TO SAN FRANCISCO
Spend the entire day exploring one of America’s most iconic landmarks, Yosemite National Park—truly a sight to behold. Your day will kick off with panoramic views of San Francisco as you cross over the Bay Bridge at sunrise. The rest of your drive to Yosemite will offer stunning scenery as well, including the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains and lush Central Valley. Once you arrive in Yosemite National Park, you will have 2.5 hours to hike and shop in Yosemite Village. You should arrive back at your hotel just in time for a spectacular San Francisco sunset.
